Hey there. I’m Yoshi. I’m not one of those hyper kittens running around causing chaos—I’m a mature gentleman who enjoys the finer things in life, like a good nap in a cozy spot and some chin scratches from someone I trust.

I came from a tough situation, living in a house with nearly 40 other cats, all kept in small carriers to prevent us from mating. Our owner only visited once a week to clean and feed us, so life was lonely and uncertain. But that’s just a chapter in my story—not the whole book. Thanks to kind rescuers and organizations like the one that saved me, I was given a second chance. Now, instead of dwelling on the past, I focus on the love, care, and happiness that lie ahead as I wait for my forever family. Because of my past,  I’ve learned to be independent.

I like my space, but don’t get me wrong—I still enjoy a little affection. I might not jump on your lap, but I’ll happily sit by your side, purring softly as we enjoy the quiet together.

I’m not a fan of loud noises or too much action, so I’d love a calm home with no kids. I can live with another older, mellow cat, but if they get too annoying, I’ll politely let them know with a hiss—nothing personal, I just like my peace!

I don’t ask for much. A warm bed, some good food (wet food, please!), and a kind human who understands me. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, sweet companion, I think we’d get along just fine!
