Hi, my name is Twinkie! I lived on the streets for nearly my whole life. At some point I lost a leg, but no one knows how. I was seen as a stray and the LBS team would feed me, then a local lady in the town spoke to them and asked if they could take me as I kept getting pregnant and would find it really hard to get around on my 3 legs. Luckily they trapped me and took me to the vets.

I’m a beautiful older lady! I am shy and need time to get to know you before I decide I trust you. Time and space is key for me, along with no sudden movements. I like a calm environment where I can have my own space. I like to relax in the sunshine and sunbathe. Small cosy spaces are really cool, they make me feel safe. I need an experienced owner who will give me enough time to get to know them, once they have earnt my trust I will love them!

 

Twinkie was adopted abroad and in November 2021 she travelled to her forever home.
