Hello, I’m Poppet. I was found by a volunteer living next to a bin. I was so hungry I ran straight over as soon as I heard the food. I could barely see my eyes were so badly infected, I was skinny and in a really bad condition. I had been drinking dirty water and sleeping on a plastic bag for comfort. When they put me in the carrier and took me to the vets I was so happy to finally be safe.

I’m a chatty little lady! I love to talk to you, from the moment I see you to when you leave I will chirp and tell you everything. I love to be smushed, I can’t believe my luck at how many cuddles I get all day now. I will curl up in your lap and purr so hard to let you know how happy I am to be close to you. I am still having treatment for my eyes, but I think I’m making a great recovery and will be all better soon. Food is amazing, after eating out of the bin wet food is the best thing I have ever tasted! I will also demolish any biscuits you leave, I’m always hungry! The first few months of my life were so lonely and scary, I would love someone to cuddle me and make me feel safe and loved.

 

Poppet was adopted abroad and she travelled to her forever home in December 2021.
