Hi, I'm Napoleon! I'm a playful and affectionate dog, wagging my tail and leaning into people for pets. I love being around humans and quickly warm up once I get comfortable, even though I can be a little cautious when I first meet someone new. I can fit well into a multi-dog home or be just as happy in a solo home and I don’t show any aggressive or territorial behavior with other dogs.

When it comes to leash walking, I’m still learning and could use a bit of training to help me improve, especially to stop me from jumping around too much. I just get excited! My favorite toys are ropes and balls, and I love running around, especially in the mornings and evenings. When I’m ready to rest, you’ll find me chilling in my dog house. I'm mostly quiet, but my curious side comes out as I carefully explore new places. I’m also comfortable being left alone, so I can easily adapt to different households.

Now, here's how I got here: A tourist spotted me in bad shape near their hotel in the Peloponnese and contacted a foreign rescue organization. They reached out to the amazing people who now take care of me, and a volunteer stepped up to help. When they came to get me, they found my best friend at the time, Lafayette, and couldn’t leave him behind. Thanks to the hard work of some wonderful volunteers, we were both brought to Athens to get checked and treated. Now, we’re both hoping to find a loving home, maybe even abroad!
