Hi there! My name is Moana, and I’ve been told I’m a bit of a mystery. I was born in late August 2024, and one day, I found myself in a kind rescuers’ garden. I’m not sure how I got there, but it seems someone left me behind. It was a little scary at first, but now I’m safe and ready to find a loving home where I can truly relax and be myself.

I’m a quiet, laid-back kind of gal who loves the calm life. Napping in cozy spots and hanging out on high perches are my favorite things to do. I like to take my time exploring new spaces—I’m a little cautious, but once I feel safe, I settle in just fine. I’ve even made a friend here in the shelter—a cat named Maple—and I get along well with other cats. I’d be happy in a home with or without other furry friends, as long as I have my own space to unwind.

I’m a bit independent, but I do enjoy gentle affection, especially on my neck, when you take it slow with me. I’m not one for loud noises or sudden movements—they make me a little nervous—so I’d love a calm home with patient humans, maybe older kids or adults who understand I need my quiet moments. I’m not very talkative, but I’ll quietly keep you company and bring a peaceful vibe to your home.

I’m healthy, though I do have a small “film” over one of my eyes. It doesn’t bother me, and I’m not on any medication. I love my wet food and don’t have any special dietary needs. Oh, and string toys are my favorite—I’ll show you my playful side when I’m in the mood, but mostly I just enjoy being near you.
