Hi there! My name is Maple, and I’m a sweet little kitten with quite a story. One night, a kind but hurried lady brought me to the shelter and left me. I didn’t know what was going on, but the shelter folks gave me lots of love and care right from the start.

When I first got here, I had a health issue. The doctors told me I had something called Giardia, a pesky little parasite. But don’t worry—I was treated right away, and soon I was feeling like myself again. Now I’m completely healthy and living my best life with my kitty friends and loving caregivers!

I’m a pretty easygoing cat. I love finding cozy spots to nap in, like my cat bed or a hexagon box on the wall I can curl up in. Sometimes I climb up high for a nap, where I can watch everything that’s going on below. I also love being around people getting cuddles and scratches! I’ll happily cuddle up to you or just hang out nearby—it’s all good with me.

I think people would say I’m both independent and affectionate. I love a good head scratch, and I’m friendly with everyone, even kids! I might seem delicate, but I’m also pretty strong and curious. I like to explore and check out new places, but I’m always calm, even when there are new faces around. I also love playtime!
