Hi my name is Luigi! I was living near some garbage bins trying to survive off scraps. It was a hard life. I was friendly to the kind lady that came to feed us so she decided to take us to LBS for a better life.

I’m a very handsome young man! I have silky soft fur and I love to keep myself looking the best. I’m a little shy and need time to get to know you, wet food is my favourite and we will definitely make friends quicker if you have some. I meow sooo loud when it is dinner time because I get so excited! When I come out of my shell I am a sweet and gentle boy. I like to watch the world go by through the window on the coziest blanket I can find. Once I have bonded with you I love cuddles, I will rub myself against you and meow for love and attention!

 

I need someone who is able to give me time to open up, once I do they’re in for a treat! I’m still getting used to being touched, if you distract me with food first I will enjoy a stroke more. I’m a calm boy who likes my own space! I love to chill, especially in a nice cosy spot.

I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, which means I need a strict diet and insulin injections twice a day.

So I need an owner who is experienced with diabetes in cats or very happy to learn. Because I can be shy I need someone who has a lot of time, patience and love to give as we get used to each other and learn our routine.

I am very good with my injections, the ladies here give me wet food (my favorite) to distract me, I barely even notice what they are doing!

Luigi was adopted abroad and he travelled to his forever home in October 2022.
