Hi everyone! My name is Ginger. I was found on the streets of Varkiza in a terrible state. My pelvis was broken, I had a hernia, and lots of blood loss. No one really knows why! Perhaps a car crash? Or abuse? I spent a lot of time at the vets, it was really hard. But eventually I started recovering and gained some strength. LBS have nursed me back to a really good place :)

I am the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. I am a little bit timid, and get quite scared at fast movements or loud noises. But with a nice gentle, calm approach I love cuddles! Head rubs are my favourite, especially with a good nose scratch :) I really don’t like being by myself, I get lonely quite easily, so once we become good friends I will stay close, curling up at your feet or on yours legs whenever I get the chance. If you have other cats, even better, I really love to play and cuddle with cat friends too. I am a very loving, gentle, soul looking for a best friend.

Ginger was adopted by one of our volunteers and in April 2021 he travelled to his forever home in France.
