Hello I’m Garlic! I was dumped on the doorstep of a friend of the shelters. My two siblings and I were put in a cage and left there in the cold. We were scared and didn’t understand what had happened. It took us some time to recover from what happened, but now we have a warm home and people to care for us we are so much happier.

I’m a sweetheart! I’m so gentle and loving, I couldn’t hurt a fly. All I want is love and a warm place to sleep. I need a little extra time to get to know my surroundings, I like to feel safe so I will usually find a cosy hiding spot and observe while I get used to you. It doesn’t take me long to realise that humans are the best though! They give the best head scratches, I like to rub myself all over you to tell you how much I love you.

Snuggling in a duvet is so lovely, I want you to know I like to sleep in bed with you too! The bonds I form with my humans are very strong and I will love you forever. As I’m still young of course I love to play too! Other cats are super fun to run around with, so I would love to be in a home with a kitty friend. Chasing things is super fun, so I would like someone to play with me a lot! It also helps me feel more confident too. 

Food is really the best, if you have some of the good stuff I will make friends with you straight away! They think I’m greedy, but really I’m a growing girl so I just need food to make me big and strong!

After being abandoned I need someone to love me, provide me with the security and comfort I deserve.

Garlic was adopted abroad and she travelled to her forever home in August 2022.
