Hello! We're Esmeralda and Cirilo, and we're looking for our forever home—together! We are a pair of bonded siblings who were rescued from the streets of Thissio (Athens), and thanks to our amazing rescuer and the wonderful people at Nine Lives Greece, we’ve been given a second chance at life. Now we’re safe and loved, and all we need is a family who will take us both in, because we can’t imagine life without each other!

 I’m a brave little kitten with a big heart and endless energy. Even though I have a broken femur that makes me drag my left back leg, I don’t let it slow me down. I love to run, jump, and play with all the enthusiasm I can muster! My vet says I don’t need surgery, just a bit of physical therapy to keep me strong. So, yes, I might need a little extra care, but don’t worry—I’m tough and full of love.

I’m very social and love to explore my surroundings. The other cats in my foster home don’t bother me at all, and I always find new toys to play with. When I need to rest, I like to snuggle up with my brother, Cirilo, in low cat beds since it’s still a bit hard for me to climb. I love both dry and wet food, and I’m very sweet and gentle with people. I promise, I’ll fill your home with love and fun!
