Hello my name is Elise and I am a very beautiful cat. I didn't have the best start of my life as i was living as a stray on the streets of a suburb of Athens. Unfortunately one day, while trying to cross over a busy road I got hit by a car and dislocated my pelvis. Though unlucky because of the accident I am happy to say that a lady stopped and saved me. She saw the accident and immediately stopped her car, run towards me and picked me up. She took me to her vet for clinical examination and because of my pelvis i had to spend many days in a crate until my pelvis healed. The lady that saved me couldn’t keep me but contacted an animal welfare organization asking for help. They agreed and took me under their care. I moved to the foster home 17.12.2021 and still live there.

 

Sometimes I fool people and show I am scared but once they start petting me i can’t resist to show how much I like it and start to purr non stop! I am very friendly towards people and all the rest of the cats that live in the house. I am great with new incomers as well!  I am very affectionate and cuddly. I love to be petted and like to make biscuits on fluffy beds! Even though I had to spend quite some time in a crate on my own I adjusted very quickly to the new environment once I got the chance to meet the rest of the kitty family.

 

I don’t bother anyone and I love being around other cats and people of course. I enjoy playing with all kinds of toys and my furry blankets. I love to snuggle in and sleep with my teddy bears. I get playful when I am in mood and enjoy playing with small mice as well.

 

I was extremely happy when my pelvis healed and I could use a scratching post to sharpen my nails! I enjoy sleeping on the higher areas as well.  

 

I can be a bit timid if someone walks fast towards me or moves something quickly while I am close by. In general, though, I am super sweet and very easy going. I love wet food and treats! I look forward to get adopted and travel to my forever family!

 

I am very clever so I have to admit that I understand that everyone that looks at my pretty face and my round eyes fall in love with me. That is why, I am sure whoever adopts me will adore me! We will be forever friends and I will brighten up their lives!
