Let's be S.M.A.R.T. covers costs of all its activities in Greece, including operating the sanctuary in Attika region, mainly from internal funds and must rely on kind donations to keep going on its mission.

 

Yearly operation budget of the cat sanctuary, hosting currently more than 40 cats, is quite considerable and being paid from privately raised funds, and so are our S.M.A.R.T. Sterilization Program and all our educational and community projects and events.

Let's be S.M.A.R.T. therefore always welcomes donations from companies or individuals.

​HOW YOU CAN DONATE

You can contribute to the operation of our sanctuary by sending money directly to our organization's Greek bank account or by sending money via secure PayPal system or by donating items we specifically need at the given moment (see list below which is being updated based on actual needs).

EVERY CONTRIBUTION MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Your generous support is dedicated to funding our cat sanctuary and financing following:

​

  • Cat food, litter, cat beds & trees, blankets, toys, carriers, household items such as cleaning products, detergents, towels etc.

  • Medical bills for tests, vaccinations and other treatments, surgeries and emergency treatments, medicine for cats, sterilizations of new cats brought in

  • Sterilizations of stray cats within our trap-and-neuter sterilization program

  • Publishing educational material (brochures, posters, leaflets etc.)

  • Organizing educational seminars and workshops

  • Organizing charity events with the aim to promote awareness, community building and to raise donations

Information for Greek donors: in accordance to the Article 19 of the Law 4172/2013 (Income Tax Code) as well as the ministerial decree No. 1010/2014, donations over 100 € towards charitable organizations might be deducted from the annual income tax, to a certain percentage and under the specific conditions.
