Hi! I’m Curly, and I’m a super affectionate cat who just loves being around people. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel comfortable, I’ll show you my sweet side in no time. I love sitting on laps, getting head, butt, and chin scratches, and enjoying gentle pets. But, just a heads-up—my tummy isn’t really a fan of being petted! I’ll happily jump up on your lap, lie down, and purr away, which everyone says is really cute.

 

When it comes to other cats, I can be a bit timid sometimes. I don’t mind living with them, but I don’t form super close bonds either. I’m not aggressive at all, though—mostly, I just keep to myself. I much prefer the company of humans! If I know you, I’ll run toward you looking for affection and cuddles, but when new people come around, I might hide at first.

 

Once I’m used to you, though, I’m all about those cuddles! I have a playful side too! I enjoy chasing a cat wand and, when I’m not in the mood to play, you’ll probably find me napping. My favorite sleeping spots are under the table on chairs, where I feel cozy and secure. I’m mostly quiet, except during feeding time! If there’s yummy wet food involved, you’ll definitely hear me meowing, and I might even jump up on the counter to remind you that it’s time to eat. I can be a little sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements, so I think I’d do best in a calm environment, maybe with older kids who know how to be gentle. If something scares me or makes me uncomfortable, I’ll hiss to let you know I’m feeling a little nervous.

 

But overall, I’m a laid-back cat who enjoys both some independence and lots of cuddles. I can be playful when I feel like it, and I’d make a loving companion in any home. Oh, and here’s my rescue story! I was found in a box in a dumpster near a supermarket when I was just a tiny kitten. I was so weak and desperately crying for help.

 

Thankfully, a kind animal rescuer saved me, and I spent some time with her before joining my kitty family here. I came all the way from Northern Greece! So, if you’re looking for a loving and gentle companion, I’d be happy to fill that role in your home!
