Hi, I’m Alphie! I’m a quiet, laid-back cat who’s still figuring out this whole "trusting humans" thing. When I arrived at the shelter in 2023, I wasn’t sure about anyone, and honestly, I’m still cautious. I’ve been through a lot, and while I’m FIV positive, I’m in good health and just prefer to take things slow.

I like to keep my distance, and I’ll be honest, I don’t enjoy being petted or held. If you move too fast, I might hiss or swipe, but I don’t mean to be mean. I’m just scared sometimes. Lately, I’ve been getting more used to people being around, and I’ll even slow blink at you when I’m feeling safe. I’m not one for cuddles, but with some patience, I know I can learn to trust more.

I’m fine living with other cats and actually do pretty well in a multi-cat home. I spend most of my time chilling in cozy spots like cat trees or by the window, where I can nap and watch the world go by. I prefer quiet places and enjoy my alone time.
