Hello! I'm Cirilo and I'm looking for a loving and forever home. I was rescued with my sister Esmeralda from the streets of Thissio (Athens), and thanks to our amazing rescuer and the wonderful people at Nine Lives Greece, we’ve been given a second chance at life. Now we’re safe and loved.

I'm a dashing, curious little gentleman, with georgeous black hair. I live at the LBS shelter (though I like to think of it as my temporary kingdom) and I’ve got a lively spirit and a nose for mischief, especially when it comes to teasing the other cats. Not in a mean way, of course — just a little swat here, a playful pounce there. Keeps things interesting.

I love exploring every nook and cranny, even if I’ve seen them a hundred times already. You never know when a new smell or a tasty crumb might appear. Speaking of tasty things … food is my absolute favorite. I'm always the first one impatiently waiting for the morning feeding when the humans hand us over the most delicious bowls of wet food. If I hear a rustle or smell something good, I’ll be there in a flash, tail high and eyes wide.

My favorite pass time activity is to teas and chase my sister Esmeralda and stirring up trouble with the other cats. If there’s a new kitty arriving to the shelter who needs to be in the crate for some time, you can bet I’m trying to teas her and sneak a bite from her bowl — I’ve got a real talent for “sharing.”

But when all the chasing and teasing is done, my favorite place to be is curled up on that one fluffy chair in the corner. It’s soft, warm, and perfect for a long nap or a good snuggle. I might be full of energy most of the time, but give me a cozy spot and a gentle hand, and I’ll melt right into it.

So yeah, that’s me — Cirilo, the curious cuddlebug with a playful streak and a big appetite whoo looks for his forever and loving home.
